Teams

E.P.S.C.A. runs the England Under 11 Team and the England Girls' Under 11 Team. The England Girls' Under 11 Team is selected by its manager, based on performances at major tournaments throughout the year.
There will be a selection tournament for the England Under 11 Team on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th April 2010 at Liverpool College. There are two routes to an invitation to this selection tournament:
1. Each affiliated association may nominate their board one providing they were born between 1/9/98 and 31/8/00 (ie was aged 9 or 10 on 31/8/09.) If the board one is one of our preselected players (or too young) then board two may be nominated.
2. Players of the correct age may also qualify through good performances at two or more of the following tournaments. Even if a player is going to be nominated we would strongly recommend that they play in at least two of these tournaments.
Please note that if an association's board one qualifies through the tournament system that association DOES NOT get another nomination.

Pre-trial Tournaments 2009/10

Good performances at two or more of the following tournaments will allow players who have not been nominated by their associations (ie they play board one unless said board is one of the 7 players who qualified in 2009 or is an U9) to qualify for the England Under 11 trial. They are, of course, useful tournaments for all players to improve their play and we recommend all players to play in at least two of them.
